# International numbers and prices

> Send outside India, and read the price of a message.

Write every number with its country code, for example `+97150123****`. The price of a message depends on the country and the template's category. See the current prices in the app under Billing → Plan → Prices for other countries, or ask GET /v1/prices.

Starting a conversation with a number outside India needs the Pro plan. Replies within 24 hours work on every plan.

OTP messages to some countries cost more when WhatsApp applies its international OTP rate to your business. The price shown before sending is the price you pay.

Read the prices — the same as in the app — with:

Leave out the filters to get every country.

## When a country can't be sent to

* `needs_pro_plan`: starting a conversation with a number outside India needs the Pro plan.
* `country_unavailable`: WhatsApp isn't available there.
* `no_price`: sending there isn't available yet.
* `us_marketing_paused`: marketing messages can't go to US numbers.
